Welcome to the Willow Arts online home. At its core, Willow Arts is about rediscovering awe: constantly moving toward the deep sense of wonder that is kindled inside of us when we are touched by God.

As His followers, formed in His image, artists and teaches in the church have the amazing privilege of using our God-given creative gifts and abilities in a process that opens the hearts of believers and seekers to the awe-inspiring reality of His presence. As we offer our gifts and abilities to be used by God, we enter into a partnership with Him, creating moments of awe that effectively resonate His life-changing message to others.

With special emphasis on serving those involved in the “creating and carrying out” of a church’s weekly services, we are dedicated to providing Christ-following artists and teachers with training and resources that encourage them to experience the awe of God themselves, and to create moments of awe where the hearts of others are opened to the grace and goodness of God. We invite you to be a part of our community.

We gave this one a good look at our Creative Team Meeting...it did not make the cut, but we liked the concepts Sean Steinke

What a fun way to get across the point of asking God! We used this drama Oct 29-30, 2011 before the message at Cheyenne Hills Church as our Pastor spoke on Matthew 7:7-12 It's a drama for all age groups to enjoy! We has the 3 sisters dressed in identical gowns which added to the division between them and Maggie. Holly

This is a very expensive item to only be able to use a few items/ideas from it. Lots of problems. For instance, the centerpiece is a drama called the "Village of Lack" which no one on our team understood what point they were trying to make. I did, but only because I knew the overall service theme. A huge waste of resources (wonderful puppets and sets) with no thematic pay-off. The songs charts in the package included every possible instrument but didn't include a simple guitar chart that most teams use. The mp3's have backing trax and split tracks but no performance tracks so your vocalists can actually hear the song. Those sorts of omissions, (especially when they have all kinds of other extras) are frustrating. The commentary claimed that the music was more inspired by artists like Sufjan and Arcade Fire but ends up again sounding like boomer adult contemporary. Not putting that down if that's your culture but don't claim it's "indie" sounding. Even the best moments, like the live testimonies, come off sounding terribly rehearsed, which is often a Willow issue. Ironically, the best moments were part of the pre-service, as people were sitting. It's a very clever use of placards that we'll use in the main service. Again, using real stories is powerful but there is alot we won't use from this package. Buy at your own risk. Jonathan
